Luke Donald, working with IMG, laid out an 18-hole, par-72 course that plays up to 7,857 yards from the championship tees, set in the foothills west of Da Nang. Rather than fighting that geography, Faldo’s routing leans into it: early holes run along the beach, the middle stretch cuts through jungle, and the back nine opens up to mountain views. Greg Norman designed this par-71 links course, which opened in 2014 along the coastline south of Ho Chi Minh City in Ba Ria–Vung Tau province — roughly 7,007 yards from the tips. Elevation changes are more dramatic here than at Hoiana Shores, with several holes running along bluffs above the sea rather than at grade with it, which is where the course gets its name.
