Overview

Hôtel des Arts Saigon, part of Accor’s MGallery collection, is a five-star boutique hotel with 168 rooms at 76-78 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street in District 3, on the edge of the centre of Ho Chi Minh City. It opened in late 2015 with 1930s Indochine interiors and an art collection through the public spaces. On the roof are an infinity pool and the Social Club bar; restaurants include Saigon Kitchen, The Albion on the 23rd floor and Café des Beaux-Arts, with Le Spa des Artistes for treatments.

The address helps golfers more than it first looks. Being north-west of the District 1 core puts the hotel a few minutes closer to the airport road, so Tan Son Nhat Golf Course is 20 to 30 minutes and Tan Son Nhat Airport about the same. Song Be and Harmonie, both north in Binh Duong, are 45 to 50 minutes. Standard rooms are 30 square metres, which suits couples and pairs better than a group that wants to spread out. Pick it for the rooftop pool and the quieter street rather than for size.
