Ana Mandara Villas Dalat Resort & Spa is a four-star resort of 17 restored French villas on Le Lai Street, on a pine-covered hill about 10 minutes by car west of central Da Lat. The villas date from the 1920s and still have their wooden floors and high ceilings. On site you will find Le Petit Restaurant, La Cochinchine Spa in Villa 14 and a heated outdoor pool.

For golfers it works as a quiet base more than a convenient one. Dalat Palace Golf Club is around 10 minutes away, SAM Tuyen Lam 20 to 25, and The Dalat at 1200 about 45 minutes out towards the airport. One thing to know before booking: the paths between villas are steep, and at roughly 1,500 metres you notice it, so ask for a villa close to reception if anyone in the group has bad knees. Couples and small groups who want gardens and silence after the round tend to like it most.
