Overview

New World Phu Quoc Resort is a five-star, all-villa resort on Khem Beach in An Thoi, at the southern tip of Phu Quoc Island. It opened in 2021, developed by Sun Group and run by New World Hotels & Resorts. All 375 thatched-roof villas have a private pool, in layouts of up to four bedrooms. The resort adds a 120-metre infinity pool, a kids pool and water park, a spa with 16 treatment rooms, The Bay Kitchen, Lua Grill & Bar, The Lounge and a pool bar.

The multi-bedroom villas are the reason golf groups look at it: a foursome can share one villa with a pool instead of four separate rooms. The trade-off is distance. Both Phu Quoc courses are in the north and west of the island, so Eschuri Vung Bau Golf Resort is roughly 50 to 60 minutes away and Vinpearl Golf Phu Quoc about 75 minutes. It works best for a beach-first trip with one or two rounds, or for groups travelling with partners who will spend the golf days at the pool and Sunset Town, about 4.6 km away.
