Are the caddie and cart included in Saigon green fees?
Yes. At every course we book around Ho Chi Minh City, a caddie and a shared cart come with the round and are part of the green fee. Some nationwide guides list a separate caddie fee of a few hundred thousand dong; at the Saigon courses we work with, that line simply does not appear on the bill.
The published rate cards say it in writing. Vinpearl Golf Léman’s 2026 card describes its 18-hole price as green fee, caddie fee and shared cart together, and The Bluffs lists its rates as including caddie and cart fees. What does cost extra is optional. At Léman, for example, the 2026 card lists:
- A private one-person cart surcharge: VND 450,000 (~$17)
- Requesting a specific caddie: VND 270,000 (~$10)
- A rental set of clubs: VND 950,000 (~$37); shoes VND 250,000 (~$10)
- Umbrellas: free

Weekday, weekend or low season: when is golf cheaper in Saigon?
Weekdays are cheaper everywhere that publishes rates, and at Léman the April–October season is cheaper again. On Léman’s 2026 card a low-season weekday costs VND 2,550,000 against VND 3,850,000 for a high-season weekend, a difference of about USD 50 for the same 18 holes.
- Weekend premium: VND 600,000–700,000 at Léman (about 22–24%), VND 650,000 at The Bluffs (about 11%).
- Season: Léman charges its high-season rate from November to March, which largely overlaps Saigon’s dry season. April to October is about 19% cheaper on a weekday.
- Public holidays: The Bluffs charges a separate holiday rate (VND 6,760,000) on dates such as Tet, 30 April–1 May and 2 September.

What does it cost to get to the courses?
Transport is the cost most golfers forget, and in Saigon it depends on distance, not on the course. The nearest course is about 45 minutes from District 1 in daytime traffic; the far western courses are close to two hours each way.
With clubs and three or four golfers, a ride-hailing car is rarely practical, so most visitors hire a car and driver for the day. That cost rises with distance, and a day at The Bluffs means four to five hours on the road. Every package we sell includes a private car with driver to each course.
Where to stay and what hotels add to the budget
Most golfers stay in District 1 or 3, within one or two hours of every course. Room rates move with the season, so we do not quote them here. The four hotels we use most:
- Hotel Grand Saigon, on Dong Khoi since 1930, with a courtyard pool
- Le Méridien Saigon, on the riverfront with a rooftop saltwater pool
- Hôtel des Arts Saigon MGallery, in District 3 with a rooftop bar

For The Bluffs, budget one night at The Grand Ho Tram (InterContinental or Holiday Inn Resort) rather than driving there and back in a day.

Five ways to keep a Saigon golf budget down
- Play Monday to Friday. The weekend premium is up to VND 700,000 per round at the courses that publish rates.
- Come between April and October if you can live with afternoon storms, and tee off early.
- Pick the closer courses. Tan Son Nhat and Song Be are under an hour from District 1, which keeps the car bill down.
- Bring your own clubs. Rental at Léman is VND 950,000 per round.
- Treat The Bluffs as a splurge. One round there costs about the same as two in the city, plus a night at the coast.
