Your driver takes you 37 km north from Cam Ranh airport to the Cau Da pier, about 45 minutes. The cable car over the bay takes around eight minutes; when it is closed for weather, the speedboat crosses in seven to ten. Check in at the resort; the afternoon is yours.
No crossing today: Vinpearl Golf Nha Trang is on the same island as the resort. IMG designed this par 71 of 6,787 yards on paspalum, squeezed between the hills of Hon Tre and the water. Morning tee time, afternoon at the pool or the beach.
Play Vinpearl Golf again with a different tee time, or cross back to the mainland for KN Golf Links Cam Ranh, Greg Norman’s links on Bai Dai. That option adds the crossing and about 50 minutes each way by car, so it is a full day.

What you gain
Everything is on one island: the golf course, the beach, the pools and VinWonders. For families with non-golfers, that is the main reason to choose this over a mainland package.
What you give up
You depend on the crossing to leave the island. The cable car runs roughly 08:30 to 22:00 and a speedboat runs later, but a night in the city takes planning. Resort restaurants also charge resort prices; dinner in town is cheaper and livelier.
Adding KN Golf Links
KN is the strongest course in the area, but from the island it is the crossing plus about 50 minutes by car each way. We suggest it only for golfers who want variety more than an easy day.
Flights
AirAsia flies Kuala Lumpur to Cam Ranh direct on some days of the week. There are currently no direct flights from Singapore, Hong Kong or Taipei; connect through Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi.
