This Muslim golf package for Da Lat plays three courses in one highland town where days sit around 20°C all year. Your hotel is a four-minute walk from a halal restaurant, and AirAsia flies Kuala Lumpur to Da Lat direct four times a week. More Da Lat trips are on our Da Lat golf packages page.
Overview
Itinerary
The AirAsia flight from Kuala Lumpur lands late morning, and The Dalat at 1200 Country Club is only 24 minutes (14 km) from the airport, so the first round starts the same afternoon. Kyi Hla Han’s 2015 course is par 73 and over 7,500 yards around a lake, the longest of the three. Afterwards it is 47 minutes (34 km) up to town and your hotel.
Eight minutes (3.3 km) from the hotel. Dalat Palace Golf Club winds through pines above Xuan Huong Lake: 18 holes, par 72, 6,596 yards, and one of the few courses in Vietnam with bentgrass greens. Its first holes date from the colonial era; the current layout reopened in 1994. Tee off early and you are back in town for Dhuhr.
22 minutes (14 km) south to SAM Tuyen Lam Golf Club, par 72 and more than 7,200 yards through pine forest beside Tuyen Lam Lake. In the afternoon the rest of the family can join you at the lake for the cable car and flower gardens.
A slow morning, then 31 minutes (28 km) down the pass to Lien Khuong airport. On a Kuala Lumpur flight day you are home by the evening.

Recommended Hotels
Dalat Palace Heritage opened in 1922 and has 73 rooms on a rise above Xuan Huong Lake; the nearest halal restaurant is 260 metres away. Du Parc, a 140-room hotel from 1932 a little further along Tran Phu Street, is the lower-priced option with the same easy walk to the centre.

Food: small, Muslim-run and close to the hotel
Da Lat has a handful of small halal restaurants, most of them in the centre within walking distance of Tran Phu Street, several run by Malaysian or Cham Muslim families. We have not been able to verify a halal certificate for any of them, so we call them halal-friendly and suggest you ask. The golf clubhouses are not halal-certified, so most guests eat lunch back in town after the round.
Prayer and Friday
There is no mosque in Da Lat, so there is no Jumu’ah here, and none of the three courses has a prayer room. You pray at the hotel; we ask for qibla direction and a prayer mat in writing. The direct AirAsia flights from Kuala Lumpur run on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, so a Monday-to-Thursday trip fits the flights and keeps Friday at home.
Weather and what to pack
Days sit around 20°C for most of the year, which is the point of coming. From December to February nights drop to 12–15°C, so bring a jacket. From May to October afternoon showers are common, which is why every round in this plan starts in the morning except the arrival-day round at 1200.
Ramadan 2027
Ramadan is expected from around 8 February to 9 March 2027, in Da Lat’s dry, cool season, so fasting rounds are easier here than on the coast. We book the first tee times of the day and arrange iftar at a halal restaurant near the hotel; the meal is not included.
