Itinerary
Arrival at Noi Bai, private transfer to your hotel in central Hanoi and check-in. In the evening, a short walking food tour through the Old Quarter is a good way to shake off the flight; your guide can point you to a few stalls or you can wander on your own.
Early pickup for the roughly 45–60 minute drive to BRG Kings Island Golf Resort, the Lakeside course set on a peninsula in Dong Mo Lake with water in play on several holes. Overnight in Hanoi.
No golf today. Your guide takes you to the Temple of Literature in the morning, then Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple at the water’s edge. In the afternoon, most guests walk the area around the Old Quarter or rest at the hotel; in the evening, a show at the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre closes out the day. If you’ve already spent time in Hanoi before, we can swap this for a day trip to Ninh Binh instead – Trang An or Tam Coc by boat – just ask us when booking, no extra cost either way.

Afternoon is left open on purpose – most golfers rest after three rounds in five days – and the evening is free. Ha Long Bay is a popular add-on around this point of a Hanoi trip if you want to extend, though it isn’t part of this itinerary or its price.

Built the same way as our other Hanoi packages, from published weekday green fees plus real trip costs. Breakdown per golfer, for a group of 8 sharing transport, twin share:
- Green fees (3 rounds, weekday rates): BRG Kings Island ≈ $71, Sky Lake ≈ $98 (incl. caddie + half buggy), Thanh Lanh Valley ≈ $83; subtotal ≈ $252
- 5 nights, 4★ hotel (twin share): ≈ $240
- Guided city day (Day 3): English-speaking guide plus entrance tickets to the Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple, and the water puppet show; ≈ $65
- Private car, 6 days, shared across a group of 8: ≈ $103
- Operator fee (booking, on-ground coordination, contingency): ≈ $130
Total ≈ $790 per golfer. For comparison, our Da Nang Golf and Sightseeing Tour runs from $1,250 for a similar structure, but on higher-priced central Vietnam courses and 4–5 star resort stays; our own Hanoi Golf Package (7 Days / 6 Nights) runs from $890 for one more round of golf and no guided day. Losing a round and adding a guide roughly cancel out, which is why this figure lands between the two rather than below both. This figure is a proposal only and is pending final approval before it goes live.
Why the Guided Day: Hanoi has more to see outside the golf course than Da Nang does – a walkable Old Quarter, a 1,000-year-old university, a lake with its own legend attached – so instead of a free day with nothing arranged, this package puts a guide and a car behind Day 3. Ninh Binh is offered as a swap for repeat visitors who’ve already done the Old Quarter loop.
Course Mix: BRG Kings Island and Sky Lake also appear on our 4-day and 5-day Hanoi packages, since they sit closest to the city. Thanh Lanh Valley is otherwise exclusive to our 7-day package; here it’s the only one of the newer courses on a 6-day trip.
Best Season to Play: North Vietnam has a real winter. December–February runs cold and often overcast. Spring (March–April) and autumn (October–November) are the best windows for this itinerary.
