Another early start for Sky Lake Resort & Golf Club, a 36-hole layout threading through hills and a lake. Overnight in Hanoi.
Round three at BRG Legend Hill, a Nick Faldo design and one of the better-regarded layouts north of the city. Overnight in Hanoi.

Why Take the Extra Day
This 5-day version plays the same three rounds as our 4-day package but spreads them over one more night, which mainly buys you breathing room — a proper arrival evening before golf starts, and no need to pack three rounds back-to-back-to-back. It’s the more relaxed way to do the same trip, not a different trip.
What to know before you book:
- Still Early Starts: Kings Island, Sky Lake and BRG Legend Hill all sit 40–60 minutes outside central Hanoi, so the extra night doesn’t remove the early pickups on golf days — it just means you’re not doing three of them in a row.
- Course Mix: We swap in BRG Legend Hill (Nick Faldo design) for this package instead of the inner-city Long Bien course used on our 4-day itinerary, since there’s more time to enjoy a course a little further out.
- Best Season to Play: North Vietnam has a real winter. December–February runs cold and often overcast. Spring (March–April) and autumn (October–November) are the best windows for warm days and good visibility.
Who This Is For
This suits golfers who want the same Hanoi golf-plus-culture trip as our 4-day package but with a less rushed pace — a real arrival evening, and no back-to-back-to-back rounds. It’s also a good fit if you’d rather play BRG Legend Hill’s Nick Faldo layout than the inner-city Long Bien course. If your group prefers the shorter, tighter version instead, see our Hanoi Golf Package 4 Days 3 Nights.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. How is this different from the 4-day Hanoi golf package?
›
Same 3 rounds’ worth of golf overall, but spread across 5 days / 4 nights instead of 4 days / 3 nights, with BRG Legend Hill in place of Long Bien for one of the rounds.
2. Are the golf courses far from downtown Hanoi?
›
Yes, all three courses on this itinerary — Kings Island, Sky Lake and BRG Legend Hill — are 40–60 minutes outside the city, so golf days start early regardless of the extra night.
3. When is the best time to play golf in Hanoi?
›
Spring (March–April) and autumn (October–November) offer the best weather. North Vietnam has a distinct winter, and December–February can be cold and overcast for golf.
4. Can I customize this itinerary or swap courses?
›
Yes. Other Hanoi courses such as Van Tri, Phoenix, or Long Bien can be substituted, and the package can be shortened or extended on request.
5. Are golf transfers included?
›
Yes, all airport and golf course transfers are provided with private transport.
6. How far in advance should I book?
›
We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance to secure preferred tee times, especially in the spring and autumn high season.
