Itinerary
Arrival at Noi Bai, private transfer to your hotel in central Hanoi. If you land early enough, an optional 9-hole twilight round at Long Bien Golf Course is easy to slot in, and it’s inside the city and lit for evening play. This round isn’t part of the 4 included rounds and is arranged and quoted separately.
Early pickup for the roughly 45–60 minute drive to BRG Kings Island Golf Resort, the Lakeside course set on a peninsula in Dong Mo Lake with water in play on several holes. Overnight in Hanoi.
Round two at Sky Lake Resort & Golf Club, playing the Sky Course. Overnight in Hanoi.
No tee time booked on purpose. Sleep in, walk the Old Quarter, or visit the Temple of Literature. Most golfers use this day to recover from three rounds in a row. If you’d rather not sit still, we can arrange a Ha Long Bay day cruise or an overnight cruise on request; this is quoted separately and isn’t included in the package price.
About 90 minutes out to Thanh Lanh Valley Golf & Resort, Sir Nick Faldo’s 2021 design set around Thanh Lanh Lake in the Tam Dao range, the newest course on this itinerary. Overnight in Hanoi.
Last round at Van Tri Golf Club, the private estate near Dong Anh that most visitors can’t book on their own; we arrange access in advance through our partner network, subject to availability. If Van Tri can’t be confirmed for your dates, we substitute Heron Lake Golf Course at the same standard, also subject to availability. Overnight in Hanoi.

This is a proposed price, built from published weekday green fees plus our standard trip costs, not a number we picked to sound round. Here’s the breakdown, per golfer, for a group of 8 sharing transport, twin share:
- Green fees (4 rounds, weekday rates): BRG Kings Island ≈ $71, Sky Lake ≈ $98 (incl. caddie + half buggy), Thanh Lanh Valley ≈ $83, Van Tri ≈ $100 (fixed visitor rate); subtotal ≈ $352
- 6 nights, 4★ hotel (twin share): ≈ $288
- Private car, 7 days, shared across a group of 8: ≈ $120
- Operator fee (booking, on-ground coordination, contingency): ≈ $130
Total ≈ $890 per golfer. For comparison, our Da Nang Golf Package (7 Days / 6 Nights) runs from $990 for 5 rounds — this Hanoi trip has one fewer round and a similar hotel/transport structure, so the roughly $100 gap tracks with one green fee, not a pricing error. This figure is a proposal only and is pending final approval before it goes live.
Why the Free Day: Da Nang’s 7-day package plays golf almost every day. Hanoi’s courses sit further apart and the weather is more seasonal, so we built in one day with nothing booked; it also happens to be the easiest day to bolt on a Ha Long Bay cruise for golfers who want to see more than fairways.
Course Mix: Every round on this itinerary is a different course from our 4-day and 5-day Hanoi packages’ base rotation, except Kings Island and Sky Lake, which are the two courses closest to the city and appear on all three itineraries. Thanh Lanh Valley and Van Tri are exclusive to this 7-day version.
Best Season to Play: North Vietnam has a real winter. December–February runs cold and often overcast. Spring (March–April) and autumn (October–November) are the best windows for this itinerary.

2. Is this a private golf tour or a group tour?

Both work. We run it as a private trip for couples or small groups, and can also combine golfers into a shared group of 8 to hit the twin-share group rate used in the pricing above.
3. What happens on the free day (Day 4)?

Nothing is booked by default. Most golfers rest or explore the Old Quarter on foot. If you want to see Ha Long Bay, tell us in advance and we’ll arrange a day cruise or overnight cruise, quoted separately.
4. Can I actually book Van Tri, or is it really private?

Van Tri is a private estate with roughly 400 members, so you can’t turn up and pay a green fee at the gate. We arrange visitor tee times in advance through our partner network, subject to availability, which is why Heron Lake is the standby option.
5. When is the best time to play golf in Hanoi?

Spring (March–April) and autumn (October–November) offer the best weather. North Vietnam has a distinct winter, and December–February can be cold and overcast for golf.
