This Vietnam Muslim golf tour plays six rounds across three cities in eight days: Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. Each hotel sits close to halal food, and the dates are set so your Friday falls in a city with a mosque. Every Da Nang option is on our Da Nang golf packages page.
Overview
Itinerary
Pick-up at Noi Bai and about 45 minutes into the Old Quarter. Your hotel on Hang Buom is 550 metres, a seven-minute walk, from Masjid Al-Noor at 12 Hang Luoc, the only mosque in northern Vietnam.
Long Bien Golf Course is the closest course to the Old Quarter, about 21 minutes away, with 27 holes across the Red River. Tee off at first light, and you are back at Hang Luoc well before Friday prayer, held around midday.
Check out for BRG Legend Hill Golf Resort, Nicklaus Design’s 2015 course with two greens on every hole. The clubhouse is 27 minutes from Noi Bai, so an afternoon flight to Da Nang (about 1 hour 20 minutes) is easy. Check in on My Khe Beach.
No golf. Spend the morning on the beach and the afternoon in Hoi An’s old town. Halal options there are thin, so we book dinner back in Da Nang, near the hotel.
Only 21 minutes (11 km) from the hotel, below the Marble Mountains. Montgomerie Links Vietnam is Colin Montgomerie’s design, firm and windy by the afternoon, so we book an early tee time.
Fifty minutes inland to Ba Na Hills Golf Club, Luke Donald’s mountain course, cooler than the coast and floodlit for evening golf. From the club it is 38 minutes to Da Nang airport for the evening flight south, about 1 hour 25 minutes. Overnight at Hotel Grand Saigon on Dong Khoi.
About 48 minutes east to Vietnam Golf & Country Club, 36 tree-lined holes. The hotel is a 300-metre walk from the Saigon Central Mosque at 66 Dong Du, so evening prayers are easy.
A morning round at Tan Son Nhat Golf Course, beside the airport, then 25 minutes to the terminal for your flight home.

Recommended Hotels
Each hotel was picked for what is within walking distance. In Hanoi that is Masjid Al-Noor. In Da Nang it is My Khe Beach, with the city’s halal restaurants a short drive away. In Ho Chi Minh City it is the Saigon Central Mosque, 300 metres from the door.

Mosques, prayer rooms and what we could not confirm
Hanoi has Masjid Al-Noor on Hang Luoc, open since 1890. Ho Chi Minh City has the Saigon Central Mosque on Dong Du, built in 1935. In Da Nang we could not confirm a mosque with Friday prayer; Google Maps lists Muslim prayer rooms in the city, and Sun World Ba Na Hills has one. That is why the Friday of this tour is set in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, never in Da Nang. Jumu’ah in both cities is held around midday; we confirm the time before you travel.
Food
Hanoi’s Old Quarter and the streets around Dong Du in Ho Chi Minh City have the most halal restaurants of the trip. Da Nang has a handful, mostly Indian and Middle Eastern, a short drive from My Khe. We could not verify certificates for every one, so we describe them as halal-friendly. Golf clubhouses are not halal-certified and none of the six courses has a prayer room.
The honest trade-offs
Three hotels, two domestic flights, two half-days of travel. Vietnam Airlines carries one golf set up to 23 kg free on domestic routes for most fares; on low-cost airlines you buy it as checked baggage. Hoi An, on the rest day, has very little halal food.
Best months and Ramadan 2027
February to April is the one window when all three cities are pleasant: spring in Hanoi, dry season in Da Nang and the south. Ramadan 2027 is expected from around 8 February to 9 March, inside that window. We book first-light tee times, and in Hanoi and Da Nang the floodlit courses, Legend Hill and Ba Na Hills, can take an evening round after iftar on request.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can we make Friday prayers on this trip? ›
Yes, once: the trip is eight days, so it has one Friday, and we place it in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, both with a mosque near your hotel. Start on a Thursday or a Saturday.
2. Is the food halal-certified? ›
Nothing in the package is halal-certified, and we will not claim it is. We send you a list of halal restaurants in each city and book them for you; meals are arranged, not included.
3. Are the domestic flights included? ›
No. Hanoi to Da Nang and Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City are each about 1 hour 20 minutes, with many flights a day; we help you choose times that fit the golf.
4. What about Ramadan? ›
February and March 2027 fall in Ramadan. We book the earliest tee times, and Legend Hill and Ba Na Hills are floodlit for a round after iftar.
5. Can we shorten it to 6 days? ›
Yes. Drop Da Nang and keep Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City: four rounds, one domestic flight, and still a Friday near a mosque.
6. Which months are best? ›
February to April, when all three cities are dry and comfortable.
