This Hanoi Ha Long golf package 7 days 6 nights is the longer, slower sibling of our 5-day Hanoi–Ha Long trip. Two extra nights buy you a fourth round, two of the newest courses in Quang Ninh (Silk Path Dong Trieu opened in phases in 2024–2025, Tuan Chau in 2021), and a cruise day with no tee time attached. Hanoi Ha Long Golf Package 7 Days 6 Nights: Day-by-Day Itinerary
Pickup at Noi Bai Airport and private transfer to your hotel in central Hanoi, around 45 minutes. No golf today. The Old Quarter is a short walk from both recommended hotels.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Morning drive west to BRG Kings Island Golf Resort on Dong Mo Lake, 45–60 minutes from the centre. Kings Island has 54 holes across three courses; first-timers usually get the Lakeside course unless the group asks for Kings or Mountainside.
Back in Hanoi by mid-afternoon. Overnight in Hanoi.
Check out and head east about 90 km (roughly 2 hours) to Silk Path Dong Trieu Golf and Country Club, a 27-hole Faldo Design course with real elevation change, lakes and mature pines. After the round it is about another 1.5 hours to Ha Long.
Overnight at FLC Ha Long Bay Golf Club & Luxury Resort.
The first tee at FLC Ha Long Bay Golf Club is a few minutes from your room. The Schmidt-Curley layout climbs through forest and rock, and 4 holes run right along the bay. Afternoon at leisure: the pool, the spa, or the Bai Chay waterfront.
Overnight at the resort.
A slow morning, then transfer to the harbour to board around midday. Afternoon on the water with kayaking or a cave visit, depending on the route the cruise sails. Dinner on board.
Overnight in a twin cabin on the bay.
Breakfast on the boat and back in harbour late morning. After lunch, play Tuan Chau Golf Resort, a 7,338-yard coastal links-style course on reclaimed land with around 150 bunkers. The whole course is floodlit, so a later afternoon start is no problem.
Overnight at FLC Ha Long Bay Resort.
Private transfer from Ha Long to Noi Bai International Airport, roughly 2.5 to 3 hours. Book a flight leaving after 2pm.

A Local Planner’s Notes on the 7-Day Hanoi–Ha Long Golf Trip
Ha Long Bay has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994, and one night on the water is the easiest way to see it properly. Most golf-and-cruise itineraries put the boat at the end, which means disembarking and driving 3 hours to the airport on the same morning. We put it on Day 5 for a different reason: after three rounds in three days, a day without a tee time is when the legs recover. You then play Tuan Chau fresh and leave Ha Long the next morning without rushing.
Two honest trade-offs. Day 3 is the long one, about 3.5 hours in the car split around a round. And from roughly July to September, storm warnings can cancel cruise departures at short notice; if that happens we move you into a hotel night in Ha Long and rework Days 5–6. The 5-day trip plays 3 rounds and goes straight from the cruise to the airport. This 7-day version adds a fourth round, swaps in Silk Path Dong Trieu and Tuan Chau, and keeps a full night in Ha Long after the cruise so the last day is only the airport transfer.
2. Why is there no golf on Day 5?›
It is the cruise day. Boarding is around midday and the boat is out on the bay until the next morning, so we use it as the rest day in the middle of four rounds.
3. What happens if the cruise is cancelled by weather?›
Storm warnings can stop sailings, mostly between July and September. We replace the cruise night with a hotel night in Ha Long and rearrange Days 5 and 6 so you still play all four rounds.
4. Can I swap Tuan Chau for Dragon Golf Links?›
Yes. Dragon Golf Links is a Greg Norman seaside links in Do Son, Hai Phong, about 60 km from Ha Long. The swap adds driving on Day 6 and the green fee differs, so we quote it separately.
5. How much time will I spend in the car?›
The longest days are Day 3 (about 2 hours to Silk Path Dong Trieu, then about 1.5 hours to Ha Long) and Day 7 (roughly 2.5 to 3 hours to Noi Bai). Days 4 to 6 are all short local transfers.
