Itinerary
A fast-track agent meets you before immigration at Noi Bai (HAN). The driver who stays with you all trip takes you about 27 km into Hoan Kiem, roughly 45 minutes. Check in to the Heritage Wing or the Opera Wing of the Metropole on Ngo Quyen Street.
West to Dong Mo lake, about 47 km and 1 hour 20 minutes in daytime traffic, less at dawn. At BRG Kings Island Golf Resort we book the Kings Course: Nicklaus Design, 2018, around 7,300 yards, ranked #10 in Vietnam by Top 100 Golf Courses, with a bonus par-3 19th. If it is closed for an event, you play Mountainview instead.
North into Vinh Phuc, about 64 km and 1 hour 30 minutes. Thanh Lanh Valley Golf & Resort is Nick Faldo’s 2021 course, 18 holes, par 72, over 7,000 yards in a valley ringed by hills. That evening we book you a table at a fine-dining restaurant in Hanoi.
No golf today. About 150 km and just over two hours to Tuan Chau marina, boarding around midday. You sleep in a suite with a private balcony on a 5-star overnight cruise among the limestone islands; meals on board follow the cruise’s own menu.
Disembark late morning and drive about 1 hour 45 minutes to Chi Linh Star Golf & Country Club, 27 holes laid over low hills in Hai Duong, for an afternoon round. Then roughly two hours back to the Metropole. The longest day of the trip, and the reason the driver is yours all week.
Check out early for BRG Legend Hill Golf Resort, about an hour from the hotel and only 27 minutes from Noi Bai. Nicklaus Design built it in 2015 with twin greens, 36 greens for 18 holes, over 7,068 yards. Fast-track through departures; a flight after 14:00 works.

Recommended Hotel
The Metropole has 358 rooms across the colonial Heritage Wing and the newer Opera Wing, a heated pool, a full spa, and restaurants and bars including Le Beaulieu and the Bamboo Bar. Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter are a short walk away, which is what you want on the non-golf evenings.

Why this order
The two long-drive courses come first. The cruise sits in the middle as a day off from golf, Chi Linh Star is played on the road back, and Legend Hill is saved for the last morning because it is 27 minutes from the airport.
The honest trade-offs
Day 4 has no golf. Day 5 is long: 1 hour 45 minutes to Chi Linh, a round, then two hours to Hanoi. Kings Island takes over an hour in daytime traffic. July to September is typhoon season, when cruises can be cancelled, so we do not sell this package then; December and January are often grey and misty.
Why not Sky Lake?
Visitors can play the Sky Course at Sky Lake, but the Lake Course is for members. Rather than promise a round we cannot guarantee, this package uses the Kings Course and Legend Hill.
Option B: no cruise
Five days, four nights, all at the Metropole. Kings Island and Thanh Lanh stay; day 4 becomes a day trip to Chi Linh Star and day 5 Legend Hill before your flight. Same four rounds, one fewer night, less driving.

Not as visitors; the Lake Course is for members, and only the Sky Course is open to guests. That is why this package uses Kings Island and Legend Hill instead.
