How much are green fees at the three Da Lat golf courses?
Only Dalat Palace publishes a full visitor tariff. Its 2026 card, valid until 31 December 2026, splits the week into Monday–Thursday and Friday–Sunday, with public holidays charged at the weekend rate.

Two things stand out. First, Dalat Palace’s weekend starts on Friday, not Saturday, so a Thursday round saves VND 400,000 (about USD 15). Second, 1200 is a private club: visitors play by invitation through the club’s booking form, so there is no walk-in price to compare. Booking sites list SAM Tuyen Lam prices that differ by more than a million dong from one another, which is why we leave them out. We confirm the current rate, and what it includes, with the club before you pay.
What does a Da Lat green fee include?
A Da Lat green fee at Dalat Palace is a bundled price: the right to play, a caddie and a seat in a shared buggy, with taxes already added. The tariff states this in both Vietnamese and English. The Dalat at 1200’s rate page says the same for its rates: green fee, cart and caddie together, inclusive of tax.
What costs extra is optional. The Dalat Palace 2026 tariff lists:

That last line matters for couples. A partner who wants to ride the course pays a spectator fee at Dalat Palace, so it is often better to plan a separate morning in town.
How much should you tip a caddie in Da Lat?
Budget 300,000–500,000 VND (about USD 12–19) per caddie for 18 holes, handed over in cash after the round. None of the three clubs publishes a tipping rule; this is the range we suggest to visiting golfers across Vietnam, and Vinpearl’s 2026 caddie guide puts the national average at about 300,000 VND.
Carry small notes in dong. Two rounds cost about 600,000–1,000,000 VND in tips, and three rounds about 900,000–1,500,000 VND.
What do flights and transfers add?
Almost everyone flies into Lien Khuong airport (DLI), and the flight is the second-biggest cost after golf. Check the bag rule on your exact fare before you book.

With clubs and two or more golfers, a private car with driver is the practical choice. Playing 1200 on your arrival or departure day saves a separate 90-minute round trip from town.
Where you stay changes the bill
Hotel prices in Da Lat move with the season, so we describe the three levels rather than quote a number that will be wrong next month.
- 3-star in the centre: the value choice. Dalat Palace is under 10 minutes away, and restaurants are on foot, so you spend little on taxis.
- 4-star or villa resort: hillside villa resorts and boutique hotels near Xuan Huong Lake. Our packages use places like Du Parc Hotel and Ana Mandara Villas at this level.
- 5-star heritage: the grand hotels above the lake, such as Dalat Palace Heritage Hotel, for golfers who want the full colonial-era experience.

Da Lat vs Ho Chi Minh City vs Da Nang on cost
Da Lat is not Vietnam’s cheapest golf, but it is mid-priced. A weekday round at Dalat Palace (about USD 128) sits inside the USD 98–148 range of Vinpearl Golf Léman near Ho Chi Minh City and well below The Bluffs at Ho Tram, from about USD 225, in our Ho Chi Minh City golf cost guide. Da Nang’s premium seaside courses reach about USD 320 a round in our 2026 checks, so a Da Lat trip usually costs less on golf than a Da Nang one at the top end. The real extra in Da Lat is the domestic flight.
When does a Da Lat golf trip cost more?
- Friday to Sunday: Dalat Palace charges its weekend rate from Friday, VND 400,000 more per round.
- Public holidays: the weekend rate also applies on Vietnamese public holidays; the 2026 tariff lists New Year’s Day, Tet, Hung Kings’ Day, 30 April–1 May and 2 September.
- Tet 2027: Lunar New Year falls on 6 February 2027. The club has not yet published its 2027 holiday list, but expect holiday rates and the busiest tee sheets around that week.
- Da Lat Flower Festival: the 11th festival is planned for about a week at the end of December 2026, closing on New Year’s Eve (Bao Lam Dong, May 2026; dates still to be confirmed). Town hotels are in high demand then, so book rooms and tee times early.
The weather barely moves the price. Dalat Palace uses one rate all year, so the dry season from about November to April costs the same per round as the wetter months.
DIY or package: which costs less?
For one weekday round at Dalat Palace, booking direct is simple and the price is the published one. The case for a package grows with three things: SAM Tuyen Lam, which quotes per booking; The Dalat at 1200, which needs an invitation request; and a fixed flight time that has to line up with a tee time and a driver.
