Itinerary
A fast-track agent meets you before immigration at Tan Son Nhat (SGN), so the queue is not your problem. The driver you will have all week takes you about 9 km to District 1: Le Méridien on the river, or Hôtel des Arts a few blocks inland.
Pickup at 05:45 for a 06:30 tee time. Vietnam Golf & Country Club is about 20 km and 40 minutes east at that hour, with 36 tree-lined holes: Lee Trevino’s East Course (1997) or Chen King Shih’s West Course (1994). You are back by the hotel pool before the afternoon heat.
The longest city drive of the trip, about 65 km and 1 hour 45 minutes west into Long An. Royal Long An Golf & Country Club is Nick Faldo’s design, opened in 2023, 7,233 yards from the back tees on former farmland. The driver waits at the club while you play.
Check out after breakfast for the two-hour, 104 km run south-east to The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram. Greg Norman’s dunes course opened in 2014 and plays 7,007 yards, par 71, along the bluffs above the beach. An afternoon tee time means the full sea breeze. Overnight at the Grand Ho Tram resort next door.
The same course at first light, usually in still air, so you see both sides of it. Then 2 to 2.5 hours back to Tan Son Nhat and fast-track through departures. Book a flight after 17:00.

Why this order
The two city courses come first, while you are fresh from the flight, and the long drive happens once. The Bluffs is played twice on purpose: in the afternoon wind on day 4, then in calm morning air on day 5. Most golfers find it a different course.
The honest trade-offs
Ho Tram is 2 to 2.5 hours each way. The Bluffs has the highest public green fee in the south, VND 5,850,000 on weekdays and 6,500,000 at weekends (about $225 to $250). Royal Long An can take close to two hours when traffic builds. December to February and Lunar New Year, which falls on 6 February 2027, sell out first.
Skip Ho Tram: option B
Stay all four nights in District 1. Day 4 becomes Vinpearl Golf Leman in Cu Chi, whose North Course opened in October 2025, and day 5 a morning round at Tan Son Nhat, 25 minutes from the terminal, before your flight. Less driving, no Bluffs.
